Day 1
The data for each weapon has been separated into separate files called Weapon Items. This allows an easy way to add more weapons into the game by not having to hard-code their data like it previously was done.
Day 2
Made an actual inventory system for the weapons and also re-wrote the whole combat system code.
The length of the combat system code has been trimmed down from 2172 lines to a total of 842 while also being expanded and enhanced. It also is way less buggy now.
Day 3
This day did not see that many changes to the combat system itself, only small bug-fixes, such as.
- Fixing a small issue where if you shot while in ADS you were 100% accurate
- Another issue fix, this time I made ADS be more accurate than hipfire, because due to me adding the previous fix it was the other way around, with hipfire being way more accurate than ADS
- Added back weapon swaying (See video)
New weapons
Despite there being only 2 new weapons so far, that’s not the end, in total there are 30 weapons planned. Currently we have 6, so 24 left to go.
AK-74M
The AK-74M is a fully automatic rifle, that has been added to the game. It slower, and weightier, although, it damages more than the Bullpup Rifle.
Desert Eagle
Just like the AK-74M, it is a slower but more powerful alternative to the Glock that is available in the game.
